“This was a highlight of my trip to Kyoto. My guide was extremely kind, and knowledgeable of Japan’s history. She shared many interesting historial facts, covering geography, imperialism, Samurais, Shinto and Buddhism. She had the most lovely water colour and coloured pencils illustrations in her folder (made by herself) to represent some of the things she was talking about. It was all very thoughtful and delicate.
